Julie is a passionate and dedicated member of our team, excelling in Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law and Regulatory Advice, Employment Law and Defamation Law. Julie’s commitment to staying at the forefront of legal advancements in our clients' industries ensures she is able to successfully identify and mitigate legal risks, safeguarding our clients interests.

Julie’s takes great pride in her approachable nature, which allows her to collaborate closely with clients and provide tailored, expert legal advice and representation that allows her clients to succeed.

Prior to joining BlackBay Lawyers, Julie gained extensive experience in Corporate Law, as well as exposure to a number of other industries and legal practice areas. Julie is able to leverage this diverse background and think outside the box to deliver comprehensive, pragmatic, and holistic solutions for her clients in every area of law.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Communication (Social and Political Sciences) from the University of Technology Sydney.

  • Employment law: advising both employers and employees in employment disputes such as wrongful termination claims, general protections claims and adverse-action claims. Expertise in representing clients in Court, as well as in conciliation.

  • Corporate law & regulatory advisory: advising organisations in a variety of corporate matters, including contract negotiations and disputes, licensing, regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, and dispute resolution.

  • Commercial litigation: guiding and representing large corporations in complex litigation in respect of corporate and commercial law.
